"The Last Word" is a televised competition inspired by MasterChef. Sixteen contestants enter individually and compete in a series of debating challenges. Throughout the competition, they receive feedback from established debate experts. The show features their performances, preparation and reactions to the results. Each week, a panel of expert judges eliminates one contestant. The winner receives a cash prize of €10,000.
